Each Bellabelle Doll is one of a kind and hand
sculpted by artisan Julie Campbell.

Julie is delighted to be exhibiting at Scottish Miniatura this year.
14th- 15th June at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
From
loveable children and babies to cantankerous old
ladies the world of Bellabelle is full of wonderful
miniature characters. Visit the galleries here to
see some of the dolls Julie has created.
Ranging in size from a
miniscule 2 inch baby to 6 inches for a male doll
the dolls are sculpted in 12th scale .Julie creates
dolls in any period from medieval times up to the
present day so there is a character to suit any
dolls house or miniature setting!
The dolls are sculpted from
polymer clay and are jointed at the elbows, knees .
shoulders , neck and hips making them very poseable. They are painted with Genesis heat set oils for a
beautiful soft finish and permanence and wigged
with viscose or Tibetan lambs wool. The clothing is
all designed and hand sewn by Julie with minimum use
of glue.
Julie can work from photographs to create portrait
dolls. These dolls have a good likeness to the photo
but still have that unmistakeable wide eyed Bellabelle look that has became her trademark.
Julie also makes Fantasy
Sculpts under the name La Belle Fantasy Art. This stunning range of one of a
kind Fantasy sculpts and Fairies are available to order from Julie and
auctioned regularly on ebay.com
